unfortunately i was visited by a binlid from the early leaving centre who posted above, he turned to me and said ‘come on its over’ when i protested that there was still time, he pointed to the fans and said, ‘look they’re singing the national anthem that means its the end’ – i should know better than to listen to this, the same lad who shouted, in an alcoholic fug of disorientation shouted ‘come on england’ at the last celtic game we were at together

not even going to guess what state you were in if you were judging the end of the game by the anthem singers.
Usually when the wee boy in black blows his whistle three times and they stop kicking the white round object around you can take it that its over. (coincidently the anthem will be sung)
