Tambopato River / Rainforest
The Tambopato River runs into the Madre de Dios river which in turn feeds into the Amazon.
it is about 40 minute near-off-road bus ride and 40 minutes upstream by motor canoe from Port Maldonado where a proposed road which will link the atlantic Ocean in Brazil to the Pacific Coast of Peru will run through….It also is full of piranhas but they were no match for this vegetarian hunter gatherer
