Mmmm not good this, while i use my Nikon for ‘proper’ photography, for the pic of the day i quite oftern use a wee digital that i can carry in my pocket – its been a faithful wee thing, not too many bells or whistles but it does what is asked of it and the results are often the pic of the day on here – well on a recent business trip the camera took its last pic… which i will upload when i get a chance, but this is going to make the pic of the day (which, you may have noticed is really beginning to slip now anyway) a bit more difficult.

anyway, thats my excuse.

This one of the last shots the greatly missed little guy took, in the Cairngorms:

00:58:51 was my time this year, down about a minute on last year which i put down to the bigger crowds making the course more congested and the heat…. and the amount of pies i have eaten over the past year. Another great day out tho – the organisation of the event really is superb – and being texted your run-time straight after you finis is just great.

The good thing is that now this is over and i don’t have to keep at the training i can get back to photographing which i have been neglecting badly..
